Our passion for wellness inspired our company’s founding in 1979, and in the four decades since, we have remained committed to combining advanced technology with wellness products that deliver life-changing benefits to our customers. 1979

Human Touch pioneers U.S. Robotic Massage market with the introduction of The Acu-Massage Table.

1983

Human Touch launches its first line of Robotic Massage chairs, The Get-A-Way Chair, and begins relationship with The Sharper Image.

1995

Human Touch perfects the NASA-inspired zero-gravity recliner and launches The Perfect Chair.

1999

Human Touch develops Human Touch Technology, a proprietary, multi-patented Robotic Massage system.

2002

Human Touch introduces HTT-10, the first massage chair with a rotating foot and calf ottoman.

2003

Human Touch launches its revolutionary line of low-cost massage chairs for under $600, the iJoy-100, bringing Robotic Massage to the masses.

2006

Human Touch develops the first massage chair that looks as good as it feels… the award-winning AcuTouch HT-1650.

2007

Human Touch introduces the AcuTouch HT-7450 – the first “true” Zero-Gravity Robotic Massage Chair.

2009

Human Touch launches the CirQlation line of Foot and Calf Massagers with Figure-Eight Technology, a patented mechanism designed to improve circulation in the calves and feet.

2010

Human Touch introduces HT-Connect, the first app designed to provide a fully customized massage program and real-time wellness experience via iPhone or iPod touch.

2011

Human Touch launches the Perfect Chair Serenity. The Serenity combines jade stones that radiate far-infrared heat and Serenity Wave Technology with zero-gravity for the ultimate in therapeutic relaxation.

2012

Human Touch introduces Immersion Seating, a completely redesigned and reimagined wellness experience with intelligence built in to take out stress with neutral posture positioning.

2012

Human Touch expands on zero-gravity with the Perfect Chair Series 2, featuring a sleek pad set for improved style and comfort, and dual position "HD" lumbar support.

2015

Human Touch unveils the Ascent Series, designed for those with an active lifestyle to complement their daily routine with relaxation and rejuvenation, empowering them to feel their best.

2016

Human Touch adds Omni-Motion to the Perfect Chair collection, featuring a dual-motor mechanism which allows for infinite comfort positions with the touch of a button.

2018

Human Touch unveils the Gravis ZG Chair into a class of its own, combining the benefits and comfort of zero gravity seating with air massage technology, multi-zone heat and powered positioning for every part of the chair, including the headrest.

2019

Human Touch debuts the Super Novo, the first massage chair with Amazon Alexa capability using Virtual Therapist™, an experience unlike anything else – understanding and anticipating your preferences for a truly unique and personalized massage using a smart home device.

2023

Human Touch introduces the WholeBody® ROVE massage chair, which features full-body "bend and stretch" functionality, a unique S- and L-Track massage, and an intuitive tablet remote, all packaged in a captivating and modern design.

2024

Human Touch unveils the revolutionary Super Novo X, a highly-anticipated breakthrough in massage chair technology with teardrop doors that pivot upward for easy entry and exit from the chair.
