Touching Testimonial: How My ZeroG Massage Chair is Helping Me To Heal From Lupus
There isn’t any way to possibly say thank you properly to Human Touch so in lieu of that I would like to share my experience of what a difference this has made in my life. My story was heard by a member of their wonderful company and I was blessed with the most amazing gift of the Human Touch ZeroG to help me on my journey to remission.
I have Systemic Lupus Erythematous which is more commonly known as SLE and is the most serious form of Lupus. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body because the immune system mistakes the body's own tissues as foreign invaders and attacks them. What this means is that by virtue it can affect the skin, mouth, brain, lungs, heart, kidneys, eyes, muscles……any body part you can think of, Lupus can attack.
I was diagnosed more than 20 years ago and after a few difficult years I lived for the most part free of Lupus, at least from the debilitating kind of symptoms and damage. About two years ago the disease went into a fully active status and took what had been a very active lifestyle and brought it to an abrupt halt. I currently take more than 50 pills daily, go for monthly infusions at the hospital, see multiple specialists, and holistic care is part of the regimen as well. The initial diagnosis was Lupus of the brain with neurological involvement. What this meant for me was extreme fatigue, fevers daily, rashes, balance issues, and muscle cramping that feels like I have 100 “Charley Horses” all happening at once. There is no cure and at times it feels like I am most certainly living inside the impossible.
Then I met my chair. This is where healing happens every day for me. The first time I saw it I was shopping for a new recliner with my family at a local furniture store and I sat in it just to wait for the salesperson. I immediately started crying, almost to the point of sobbing. The instant relief was something that words can’t describe. These tears were tears of joy!
It would be impossible to say that I have a favorite setting because it’s not uncommon for me to use several of them every single day. The foot and calf massager is a must with every session. And I always “Go To Zero” before I choose my massage. My typical day involves 3 visits to the chair. One to get me going in the morning, one to keep me going mid-afternoon and one to calm before bed. I tend to tuck myself in when I’m in the chair. I like to have a small pillow on each side and have a blanket over me so that I’m cocooned in it. The quest for wellness takes an emotional toll as well and I’m not stretching it to say that being in this chair feels like a mom’s hug. I love this chair! So much so that my extended family went on vacation together recently and the chair traveled with us!!
When I first began using it I thought of all the sick people I know that could benefit from it and what I found is there is no single person without an ailment whether it’s physical or emotional that this chair wouldn’t benefit. I was paying $80 every other week for a therapeutic massage. After I started using the chair I no longer needed to make the appointment because my chair can do so much more and it doesn’t get tired! I am a portrait photographer and I run my business out of my home. Because of this my clients often come and stay for quite a while. My favorite thing is to nestle them into it and watch them beg me to never go home!
I am grateful to the entrepreneur that believed enough in the quality of life to see this to fruition and the team that supported the venture. This chair has quite literally saved my pride, doubled my daily potential both professionally and personally, and given me a quiet retreat when I'm unwell. It is my personal slice of heaven on earth.

The Novo XT’s distinctive unibody design follows a unique 3D L-track that massages the entire back, from the top of the shoulders all the way down to the glutes, and its space-saving design requires only 2” of wall clearance in order to pivot seamlessly from the upright to the reclined position.
The Novo XT also features full-body stretch, zero-gravity massage, Bluetooth speakers, lumbar heat, cloud touch acupressure, and an extending foot-and-calf massager. With 34 auto wellness programs and an easy-to-use LCD controller, the Novo XT massage chair is endorsed by the World Federation of Chiropractic as an optimal way to improve spinal health and relieve overall stress. * The ZeroG 5.0 massage chair, which provides a remarkable full-body massage specifically designed to enhance the way you feel. It uses 3D FlexGlide® massage technology to deliver a stress-reducing massage experience, free from the pinching and friction associated with typical massage chairs. The four auto-massage programs easily take you from stress to sleep, and patented Warm Air Technology gently envelops your back in continuously flowing warm air to soothe tight muscles and relieve pain. The one-step Go To Zero® button also moves the chair directly into the zero-gravity seating position, which relieves pressure on the spine and is the doctor-recommended way to sit. The ZeroG 5.0 offers a fully-encompassing foot and calf massager with Figure-Eight® massage technology, as well as an extra-wide seat for added comfort. The ZeroG 5.0 massage chair is available in black, bone, or espresso SofHyde upholstery.
“We look forward to sharing our wellness solutions with the aviation industry at this year’s EAA show,” said Peter Theran, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Human Touch. “The zero gravity seating position offered in many of our massage chairs helps to relieve back and neck pain, and provides the optimal seating position for a healthy spine. The combination of deep-tissue 3D massage technology, foot and calf massage, and high-performance massage programs make these chairs a perfect source of relief for the spinal pressure associated with not only aviation, but a variety of other active interests.”

Wellness Council Member, David Marcarian, Shares an Inadvertent Benefit of Human Touch Chairs
So, the impact Human Touch has on my life, and the lives of all I know who own their products is uncanny. I am assuming Human Touch is NOT tracking my physical health (as far as I know). I recently purchased a Human Touch PC 8500 chair, and did so without knowledge of a circulation issue with one of my legs. You know…varicose veins, but in my case they were severe and only on one side. Quite unusual. I immediately went to my primary care physician, who stated that this was the worst case he had seen. He recommended surgery, but in the mean time to get compression stockings to compensate for gravity. He said: “You know, one good trick is to make sure to put the compression stockings on while in bed before gravity has had a chance to negatively impact the effect of the compression stockings. He also recommended sitting with my leg raised.
It hit me: Not only does the PC8500 solve the problem of keeping my leg raised: It is one of the main features of the chair, but now I have a way to apply compression stockings which significantly improve their effectiveness.
For compression socks to be truly effective, it is best to put them on when in a position which puts your legs above your heart. Ideally putting your feet in the air for 10 minutes or so prior to putting on compression socks helps by ensuring blood is not pooled in your feet prior to applying the compression socks.
Before starting my day, I grab a pair of compression stockings, get in the chair putting it in the position with my legs almost straight up, and sit for a few minutes while the blood drains from my legs. It works so well that you can actually see the varicose veins disappear. After this short period, I simply put on the compression stockings and start my day! Watching TV or working in this position means putting off the need for surgery just a bit longer, and provides peace of mind, that I’m not further stressing my body for no reason.
Thank you Human Touch for such brilliant designs! It is as though the designers at Human Touch are themselves human, and therefore seem to know precisely what “us humans” actually need.

Dr. Cameron Call’s “Have a Heart for June” Fundraiser
When we recently discovered that one of the chiropractors in our network was running a fundraiser for their friend’s newborn daughter, we knew we wanted to help. Dr. Cameron Call’s original plan was to raffle off tickets to win his own Perfect Chair PC-610 Omni-Motion Classic recliner, with a goal to raise money for 5 month-old June Rogers, a friend’s daughter who was born with multiple congenital heart defects and required multiple surgeries. June and her twin sister were born back in December, and she has already had one open-heart surgery at just 2 weeks old.
Dr. Call and his team at The Specific Chiropractic Center in Arizona opened up this raffle to their local area, but we wanted to take it a few steps further to get him to this goal much faster. Dr. Call has agreed to open the raffle up to the entire contingent United States, and we’ve offered to share his story as well as to help them out with a Perfect Chair PC-610 so that he would not need to lose the recliner that his patients have so greatly benefited from in his office.
Please take a moment to read about this incredible fundraiser, and feel free to submit your own entry for a chance to win a FREE PC-610 for as little as $20.
Here is Dr. Cameron Call’s original post:
If you've met me you know I LOVE building community and creating a support system that fosters health, happiness, and success. I hope you all will take the time to read this (LONG POST ALERT) and support this cause with me.One of my friends in Ahwatukee (Arizona) is in need of some help, love, and support. Back in December she gave birth to two beautiful twin girls. (Twin parents UNITE!) Long before that though, they knew one of the babies was going to have some challenges to overcome - some BIG challenges.June was born with multiple congenital heart defects, the main one being Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS). Babies with this anatomy usually need a series of 3 surgeries called the Norwood, Glenn, and the Fontan. She had her first open heart surgery at 2 weeks old and lived at the hospital for 41 days after she was born. Her second open heart surgery is scheduled for the end of April. Her heart will never be "fixed" and a transplant may end up being in her future too.I want to bring the community together and raise some money to help June and her parents during this difficult time - both financially, and emotionally. My business, The Specific Chiropractic Center - Ahwatukee, will be raffling off a $3300 zero-gravity chair........ for $20/ticket. These chairs, designed in the USA by Human Touch, are called The Perfect Chair for a reason! They were designed to be the perfect chair for someone with chronic neck pain, back pain, and circulation problems. Many of you have been by the office and sat in these chairs. You know how exciting this is.These chairs retail for over $3,000, but you might be able to get one for only $20! Help us raise money for little June Rogers' upcoming heart surgery. To purchase tickets, contact me at The Specific Chiropractic Center. Tickets can be purchased in our office, or via PayPal. Call 602-753-7782, or email me at cameron@thespecific.com, with how many tickets you'd like. The winner will be announced once we've reached our goal of 170 tickets sold. For more info on the PC-610, click here.
Touching Testimonial: How The Novo Helped Me Avoid Surgery and Enjoy My Life Again
Words cannot express my gratitude towards the Novo Massage Chair, but I will try my best to tell my brief story which I have never expressed to anyone in complete details.
I just turned 27 last week and have lived a very active life style. I grew up working in construction, racing motocross, working out etc. I was blessed at the age of 19 to meet my soulmate who I have 2 beautiful young children with. I started my own company and was living the picture perfect life up until when I started experiencing back pain. I kept powering through them thinking they would eventually pass.
After 6 months of continuing to decline I elected to see a chiropractor. After a few X-rays their opinion was there was a fracture or defect in my L5-S1 that I was born with. After some MRIs and meeting with a neurosurgeon I was diagnosed with Spondylolisthesis, and was told that I was limited by my pain and would eventually need a spinal fusion, but was last resort due to my age.
I continued to work through the pain with the hopes one day it would start to subside. I downplayed how I felt to doctors (which was not a good idea) but at I time I thought I did not have a choice as I had an obligation to my employees, current customers and to provide for my family. I continued to do less physically but things continued to decline and I will never forget the day when things hit rock bottom.
I walked up a single flight of stairs twice to check on one of my jobs, and was in so much pain. That night my 2 year old son was crying for me to pick him up, which I could not physically do for the first time because of the pain. Listening to my wife try to explain to a 2 year that I could not pick him up absolutely crushed me, and I ended up going to the hospital in excruciating pain. I was discharged with pain meds and received an expedited appointment to see my neurosurgeon.
I met with my neurosurgeon with the hopes of immediately getting surgery but was informed to do more PT and start pain management, which I was not happy with at all as I felt I had exhausted all my options. I started dieting, having specialized physical therapy, and taking pain management all at once. I started to slowly feel better and would get massaged on my worst days, but then started getting them once a week as I realized they were helping. I realized the days after my weekly massage I felt the best and wish I could get more massages, but mentally could not bring myself to spend more on them as they were only temporary relief.
One day I was walking through Costco and noticed the massage chairs but elected just to walk by. Curiosity got the best of me and I ended up checking out Human Touch’s website. The stretch feature is what really got me wondering if it worked. I tried zero gravity massage chairs in the past at Brookstone, but never heard of one that could do a spinal stretch. I waited until the last day of the sale to take a look but had no intentions of purchasing one. I sat in the chair and 2 minutes into the massage the airbags squeezed my legs and stretched my spine while the rollers ran down and I was blown away. I stopped the massage a minute later and purchased one.
Although I have been very fortunate I am nowhere near a millionaire so I did not take the purchase of the chair lightly. Human Touch generously expedited the chair to me after I explained that I had purchased it for medical issues, and since then my quality of life has greatly improved. The chair has helped me recover faster and get the blood pumping in muscles on the tough days.
I started feeling better and better each week, and thought my recovery was the typical story until I met with my neurosurgeon for a follow up 2 months after my last appointment. The look of shock on his face about not experiencing pain and feeling great made me realize and his exact words of "you were very rough 2 months ago and whatever you are doing continue to do because it is working. You still have back problems so keep that in mind, but if you have no pain then you have no reason to see me.”
I find myself sitting on the chair answering emails on my laptop due to the comfort and I feel as I am the most relaxed and focused. Words cannot express how thankful I am to everyone at Human Touch. Your product has helped me get through one of the most challenging times in my life. I have enclosed a photo of myself using the chair, playing with my son, so others can see this is a real story. I am able to now enjoy doing things with my family that pain prevented me from doing before.

Touching Testimonial: How The Perfect Chair Changed My Life
I‘ve been a Computer Programmer, a heads-down coder, for 35 years. After spending about 20 years in the poor posture encouraged by a traditional workspace, I began to experience severe neck and shoulder pain. I am 100% convinced that the ergonomics of the “cubicle” office is what caused my back problems.
My doctor recommended that I have a C4-C5 cervical fusion, which I hoped would completely dissolve the pain. But as time went on, I discovered that my pain was still affecting my quality of life on a daily basis. After a lot of research, I found the Human Touch Perfect Chair, and have been using it for over 10 years now. Not only is it extremely comfortable, but it prevents the poor posture that caused my back pain.
Before I found the Perfect Chair, I was at a point where I would have to end my career due to my spinal issues. Since buying my Perfect Chair, I’ve actually purchased another that I take to work with me. I’m an independent contractor, and I’ve tried sitting in the “ergonomic” desks and chairs that many offices offer now. I can’t emphasize enough how passionately I feel that the Perfect Chair is the best desk option, and I ALWAYS insist on bringing my Perfect Chair into my offices in order to work from my laptop. My chair has received a lot of attention from friends and colleagues, including a friend who had her C4-C5-C6 vertebrae fused together, and now loves the Perfect Chair almost as much as I do!
I believe that if I.T. continues the way it’s going with their long, heads-down hours spent working, they will start to see serious ramifications to their health. These are folks who sit in a chair, without moving, for 10-12 hours at a time, and I can tell you first hand that the results can be detrimental.
The Perfect Chair is an incredible tool for people who spend a lot of time at their desk, and I believe that it has the ability to completely change the way we manage our work space. I would love to see more offices eliminate the traditional cubicle set-up and encourage their employees to use Perfect Chairs with laptop desks, or even a type of dual laptop desk. I am so grateful for my Perfect Chair. It has changed my life.”
